Special Coverage on the Fuel Crisis Committee’s Results in the Mountain Regions: Steps to Ensure Supply Stability
In line with the plan to supply fuel stations in the mountain regions, and following a series of fruitful meetings, the committee has approved the selection of 11 stations affiliated with Libya Oil Joint Company to be regularly supplied with fuel according to an organized schedule.
This selection comes after a thorough review by the Central, Western, and Northern Mountain directorates, aimed at enhancing supply and ensuring the continuous availability of fuel for citizens.
The total number of fuel stations in the mountain regions is 24, with two stations currently out of service due to legal issues and 11 other stations that have been closed. Meanwhile, 11 stations continue their operations regularly to ensure the consistent and organized provision of fuel.
Other distribution companies such as “Al-Sharara,” “Al-Rahla,” “Brega,” and “Highways” are also contributing to these efforts, helping address fuel shortages and stabilize the market. Additionally, they support government efforts to eliminate the smuggling phenomenon that negatively affects the region.
