Meeting of the Chairman of the Board of Directors

On the morning of Wednesday, 03-07-2024, the Chairman of the Board of Directors held a meeting attended by the Acting General Manager, department managers, and regional managers from Tripoli, the southern, western, mountain, and central regions.

The Chairman opened the meeting by sharing the latest important decisions made by the Board of Directors aimed at improving the company’s performance and increasing its revenues, addressing employee conditions, and attempting to overcome and resolve all issues that could negatively impact the company’s operational, production, and administrative processes.

The meeting covered several topics, the most important of which were the latest developments regarding the implementation of the OLA Energy rehabilitation projects and the reasons for not completing the projects in their final form.

Challenges facing the company regarding increasing its share of fuel sales were discussed, emphasizing the need to hold meetings with the government to increase the share and to advocate for the fair distribution of fuel quotas among distribution companies.

The meeting also addressed the issue of providing various spare parts, maintaining stations, and re-equipping them with the latest methods.

The Chairman announced the completion of the approval of the company’s new organizational structure, which will have a significant impact on the workflow. He confirmed that all company regulations and systems will be reviewed, emphasizing the provision of resources such as various transportation means (small and large) and the necessity of distributing them according to work requirements. The importance of following up on the company’s debts, especially station debts, was also highlighted.

The meeting concluded at 4 PM, with an emphasis on the need for everyone’s efforts and cooperation to improve the company’s performance in a way that benefits its employees and owners. The Chairman and all attendees committed to intensifying meetings regularly to address difficulties and find solutions.
